This piece is a ode to two very specific aspects of growing up in New Orleans, walking the levee and going to the corner store. My fondest memories are of me and my cousins walking the levee in St.Rose to get to the corner store and get some snacks. This piece is dedicated to them, but the feeling and freeness that doing that gave us as children.
